The Republic of Belarus is a country located in the centre of Europe. It borders with 5 countries:

Capital city:

The capital of the Republic is Minsk. It is the largest city and the largest economic, political, scientific centre of the country with a population of about 1.9 million people.

The first mentioning of the city dates back to 1067. However, due to numerous war events on the territory of Belarus, it was destroyed and rebuilt all over again many times.

Muslims (27 communities and 9 mosques)



The climate in Belarus is moderately continental. The average temperatures in July vary from +17 C to +18.5 C, January temperatures vary from -8 C to -4.5 C.

Snow is a vital feature in the climate of Belarus. The country enjoys up to 125 days with snow on the ground.

Belarus has an average annual rainfall of 600-700 mm, mainly in the April to October period.
